FAQ

Can Ringo be used on an old doors & intercom?

Yes. Ringo fits all doors and intercom systems.

Do I need permission from other residents?

No.

If all residents decide to install Ringo for the entire building, then Ringo is installed on the common entrance door of the building, which can then be controlled by all residents.
If only (i.e. 5 residents) decide to use Ringo in a building, you still do not need the permission of the others, because in this case Ringo is placed in the apartment of one of the residents and the other 4 residents are given digital keys for the building door. These 5 specific residents cover the monthly rent, while the rest do not use Ringo, bear no costs, and their entry is still allowed in the conventional way: keys, nfc fobs, etc.

How does the installation look like?

1. Ringo is being installed as a standalone unit if you don’t use intercom in your building yet. It can be installed for the whole building, a couple of residents or just you.

2. Ringo can be installed as an upgrade to an existing intercom system. It can be installed for the whole building, a couple of residents or just you.

b) INDIVIDUALLY: Ringo is installed inside apartments of those individuals
